| Harness | Routes presented by Rudr | Availability notes |
|---|---|---|
| Claude Code | Claude subscription, Anthropic API, Foundry | External CLI; compatible version and route required |
| Codex | ChatGPT subscription, OpenAI API, Foundry | External CLI; shared CLI sign-in |
| Grok Build | Grok Build subscription, xAI API key | External login or app-visible environment key |
| OpenCode | OpenCode-owned provider access, OpenAI API, Anthropic API, Foundry | Provider-specific connection and model discovery |
| Cursor | Cursor account, Cursor API key | External CLI; account setup includes a usage connection |
| Muse Code | Meta Model API key | Upstream installation evidence remains unavailable |
| Rudr Code | Configured direct API connections | Built-in pre-alpha harness |
An access route selects the credentials and billing account. It does not establish universal model entitlement or equal capabilities across harnesses.
Set up and choose a default
- Open Settings → Code Harnesses.
- Select a harness and complete its provider guide. Verify installation, authentication, readiness, and models separately.
- Use the harness visibility menu to keep the integrations you use available. Rudr prevents disabling every harness; hiding one also prevents its runs.
- Choose the default harness for new sessions, then Save settings.
- In a new Code composer, confirm the actual selected harness and model before sending.
Changing a default does not rewrite existing sessions. Existing-session continuation is restricted to the supported Claude Code/Codex pair and must happen between runs.
Use Claude Code, Codex, Grok Build, OpenCode, or Cursor for setup. Review availability for integration-specific limits.
